Warn 8274 and 8074 lower housings are renowned for experiencing slight wear where the oil seal sits between the housing and large cam..

This wear will often lead to the seal falling out of the housing and allowing water and dirt ingress, causing potential catastrophic damage.

The plates also assist in retaining factory brakeshafts preventing accessive end float.

Made from 2mm 304 stainless steel, these plates require 3 holes to be drilled and tapped in the housing .
