HMG Winch Dong - Midnight Purple

Commonly used on Winch Challenge Competition vehicles, these winch dongs are now often seen on hard weekender and tough tourers and are designed to achieve 2 main objectives:

1- Keep the hook up high out of the mud, making access to the hook significantly easier when in a bog hole or against a bank. In the case of competition, you need your navi to be as fast as possible, having easy access to the hook can save precious time on the stop watch.

2- Provides a soft and slow stop to the rope/hook when retrieving after a winch pull, whilst keeping the hook in sight of the driver. Meaning the navi can be climbing back into the car while the driver retrieves the winch rope, saving time. *** when used correctly***
