HMG Winch Dong - Black

Originally developed for winch challenge competition vehicles, our winch dongs have quickly become a popular upgrade for hard-weekenders, touring rigs, and serious off-road builds.

Designed to improve both recovery speed and practicality, these serve two main purposes:

1. Keep Your Hook High & Accessible

By positioning the hook higher and out of the mud, access is made significantly easier when recovering in deep bog holes, against banks, or in difficult terrain.

In competition environments, where every second counts, quick and easy hook access can make a huge difference for your navigator and recovery times.

2. Controlled Rope & Hook Retrieval

The polyurethane construction provides a soft, controlled stop when retrieving your winch rope and hook, while keeping the hook visible to the driver.

This allows the navigator to get back into the vehicle while the driver retrieves the rope—saving valuable time during recovery situations.
