DIY Drum Bearing Conversion Kit

Our “do it yourself” drum bearing end support conversion, is perfect for the home enthusiast looking to reduce gearbox friction as well as improve serviceability life for their Warn 8274 and 8074 winches. Improving motor and gearbox life as well as preventing the straight cut gears inside the gearbox from running out of square due to severe wear of the factory bushing.

With 2 different weld in stub sizes to suit the 2 most common drum internal diameters, this kit gives 95% of winches out there a chance to spin easy.

This simple 15 minute weld in conversion consists of:

• 1x weld in bearing stub available to suit 77mm (+/-1mm) and 69mm (+/-1mm)
• 1x Anodised Alloy bearing cup
• 1x bearing
• 1x stub jig
• 2x stub rings
• 1x washer and 6mm bolt
• 1x detailed instructions
